Pendleton Whisky Velocity tour 2026 announced: PBR’s Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour made its debut in Aggieland in 2021 when Paulo Ferreira Lima (Bezerros, Brasil) made a perfect performance 3 by 3 in front of a frantic crowd exhausted to win their first victory in the event since 2018 in the organization’s expansion series.

The Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT) began in 2014 as PBR’s main expansion tour. The fastest growing sport, the Velocity Tour brings the excitement and high level of cowboy and cattle talent that sports fans have been waiting for in cities across the United States.

Lima started the Lone Star State event with a score of 86 points on Slim Shady (Topline Steel Buildings), placing fourth in the first round. The Brazilian veteran remained perfect in the second Heat and won his ticket to the championship round after covering City Slicker (Barrett Bucking Stock) by 86 points.

Lima then catapulted to the top of the leaderboard and took the final gold with his 86.5 points to Breaking Records (Jeff Harris) in the championship round. The victory is the first of two for Lima at all levels of competition in 2021. Also winning a grand prize in the Unleash The Beast elite tournament, Lima finished the year with his fifth place finish for the PBR World Finals and moved to the World Top 25 for the first time since 2016.

PBR’s return to the High School Station follows one of the fiercest races in the history of the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour. While Michael Lane (Tazewell, Virginia) ranked first for most of the season, it was overtaken in the last lap of the year by Adriano Salgado (Batatais, Brazil), who used a second place finish in the final of the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals to move to first position.

Pendleton Whisky Velocity 2026 tickets for the two-day event are on sale on Monday 31 January at 10 am. Elite PBR seats are available for $180 for avid fans who want an exclusive VIP experience while enjoying the world’s best bull riding circuit.
